The Milwaukee Brewers walked off the Chicago Cubs 4-3 in ten innings at American Family Field. Luis Lara's line drive to left brought home Brice Turang with runners on second and third. DL Hall earned the win, Caleb Thielbar the loss. Cam Misiorowski carried the Brewers through 6.1 frames, striking out nine and allowing one earned run on 93 pitches. His ERA now sits at 1.95. David Peterson worked 4.1 innings for Chicago, fanning four while surrendering one earned run over 83 pitches. His ERA climbed to 5.28. The Cubs went ahead in the first when Michael Busch singled home Seiya Suzuki, but Milwaukee answered immediately when Turang brought in Jackson Chourio. Carson Kelly doubled home two in the ninth to hand the Cubs a 3-2 lead, but Chourio crushed his 22nd homer in the bottom half to score Christian Yelich and force extras. The K model saw both starters finish close to expectation. Peterson notched four strikeouts, Misiorowski nine.
