Cleveland beat Baltimore 9-5 at Camden Yards, pulling away with a five-run advantage after the Orioles trimmed a six-run deficit to one in the fifth. Travis Bazzana and Pete Alonso traded home runs, but a seventh-inning sequence featuring an Alonso throwing error and a two-run Brayan Rocchio single pushed Cleveland clear. Tanner Bibee lasted just 4.1 innings for the Guardians, allowing five earned runs on 62 pitches. He struck out one. Brandon Young collected two strikeouts for Baltimore but took the loss. Tim Herrin earned the win in relief. Bazzana gave Cleveland the early cushion with a three-run home run to right center in the second, his eleventh of the year. Rocchio's two-run single in the seventh capped Cleveland's decisive three-run frame after Alonso's miscue.
