San Francisco plated six runs in the bottom of the eighth to erase a 6-1 deficit and walk off St. Louis 7-6 at Oracle Park. The Cardinals led wire-to-wire until the eighth, when Bryce Eldridge, Jonah Cox, Jung Hoo Lee, and Shay Whitcomb delivered run-scoring hits in succession. Matt Wilkinson earned the win in relief. Pallante gave St. Louis five innings of one-run ball, striking out four on 88 pitches. His ERA now sits at 3.45. Tidwell surrendered four earned runs across four innings for San Francisco, fanning two batters on 78 pitches and carrying a 4.82 ERA.
