The Phillies plated seven runs in the eighth inning and beat the Braves 9-4 at Truist Park. Philadelphia trailed 3-2 entering the frame before Alec Bohm's two-run double tied the game and opened the floodgates. Andrew Painter worked five innings for Philadelphia, allowing one earned run on 87 pitches with three strikeouts. Grant Holmes gave Atlanta four frames, surrendering two earned runs on 71 pitches with zero strikeouts. His season ERA now stands at 3.49. J.T. Realmuto homered in the second inning to give the Phillies an early lead, finishing 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored.
