The Athletics beat the Mariners 8-7 on a walk-off two-run homer from Lawrence Butler in the bottom of the ninth at Sutter Health Park. Elvis Alvarado earned the win in relief, while Andrés Muñoz took the loss. Bryce Miller worked five innings for Seattle, allowing two earned runs on 91 pitches while striking out five.
