Los Angeles Angels at Boston Red Sox

Sandoval countered with six innings of four-run ball, striking out seven on 99 pitches and lifting his ERA to 4.58. Zach Neto went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer in the ninth and drove in two. Vaughn Grissom doubled and singled, plating a run and scoring once. The Angels pushed across single runs in the second and third via double-play groundouts, then added two more on RBI singles from Jose Siri and Grissom in the third. Nick Sogard broke up the shutout in the seventh with an RBI single. The model leaned NRFI, but the first inning saw scoring. Detmers punched out nine, matching the K model output.
